In view of the passing of Collingwood great Bob Rose the banner this week should be a very simple picture with the years of his life and RIP. Best not to denegrate with any catchy slogan on the other side Bar "Side by Side we stick Together" . Apologies to all those who made suggestions in the closed Round 15 vs Freo thread, but this transcends the weekly digs at the opposition.

only my opinion but i think the maggie carrying the rose etc is too 'cheesy.' he was a humble bloke and deserves a banner much as afisher has suggested. im sure the cheer squad will do his service to our club and now memory great justice.

It is only your opinion, you're right - I don't think there's anything cheesy about it at all. Besides, it's at a football game, not at a funeral.
