That C-O-L-L-I-N-G-WO-O-D sign
To those geniuses that needed to spell out the collingwood name by individual letters, congraulations on a novel idea.
However did you consider the dozen or so rows behind you? Fair is fair but if we all had time to jump on the seats cheer.mark the goals down in the record, grab a drink and look up only to see those bloody letters still up, perhaps 45 seconds now after a goal,is quite annoying.Good on you for being able to see but how about the rest of us? Bit of consideration would be nice! The letters only came down atthe bounce of the ball to recommence play, meanijng any moves, player celebrations , indeed any action if front of us on the field was blocked. If you guys wish to swap seats and sit up the back so you don't block all of us up there let me know.

i think there should be a booklet handed out before you sign up for a cheersquad membership outlining all the things you may be experiencing
such as:
obscured views at all times
chant or get out
make lots of noise
carry on like an idiot
celebrate in style
Make sure everyone knows what their in for

Cobood i have no problem, like anyone else with flags banners or even letters. It all adds to the fun and enjoyment of the day. But as i said when it comes to missing the recommencement of the game, not once but every goal,it gets annoyng.I finally said something when my son complained and those around me expressed their displeasure.
The collingwood letters therefore blocked 12 seats back at least a dozen rows, being at least 144 people who had to wait for the letters to be lowered before they could see the game.
Meaning that nearly half the cheer squad could not see the game begin again
Although i was hesitant to ask them to lower them, the support of everyone around indicated that they too were annoyed.
Simply put- yes flags banners etc are great, jumping on seats are great, but just because you are in the cheer squad, does this mean you can forget about those sitting behind you.

Geoffypie i agree with your points, it is great fun exepcially for the kids to be part of the 'cheer squad experience' jumping about and goenerally going beserk! I did expect and do enjoy the flag waving etc.. but blocking12 seats till after the game starts again? After every goal? Am i the only one that feels that is a bit too much??
