Would of thought Marty as the sub was the obvious choice; Dids might need time to get the pace of the game. One and a half quarters is hardly ideal.

Mighty Ron almost single handily dragged us back into the 1992 elimination final on a wet day if memory serves; could of been another game I'm thinking off.

More like a reflection of our blunders this year.

The fact we didn't take a tall emergency up to Brisbane is inexplicable, even using the VFL game tomorrow as an excuse.

I wonder when Trav showed symptoms. If we were playing tomorrow night, I could understand us not picking up hat he might be ill.

But FFS, we selected the side last night. Surely there was a sign he was not right and they could have selected Paine just in case.

Could we be any more amateurish this year!

Take better emergencies would be a better alternative? Sinkers had 5 kicked on him by Dell'ollio or how ever you spell it on the weekend. Not really worthy of promotion is it?

Mate gastro can take hold of you without warning very quickly. You don't normally get 24 hours notice. Nobody is to blame for him getting sick.

Stuff like this can come on pretty quickly, so it's a bit harsh to blame the club. I had my worst case of Gastro going in full flight about 20 minutes after I felt the first symptoms. My parents were over to visit with the grand folks and I felt perfectly fine, an hour after they left I was doubled over with fluid coming out both ends

Not sure whats with the hate for Marty either, wasn't the biggest fan of him coming back but he's been far from our worst this year.

Yes things like this can hit you pretty hard all of a sudden but we can still blame the Club for not taking a KP emergency to Brissie.
