Not sure why the hate for Marty. Was unlucky to be dropped in the first place and between him and Sinclair its a no brainer

Good choice of sub although will mean they will keep him next week

Yep. Eat the wrong thing and bang! bang! Or, more to the point, splurt! splurt Nasty.

Phew! For a minute there I thought you had turned over a new leaf and started posting sense. Thankfully that seems to have been an aberration and you are back to the usual silly stuff now. Thankyou for that. (Old buggers like me can struggle to adjust to changed circumstances.)

Why would we want to have taken a spare tall? First, we don't need any more talls - we were top-heavy as selected against a Brisbane with no recognised #1 ruckman, no Brown, and no Merrit. Second, who would you have brought? Witts desperately needs a 4-quarter game instead of getting subbed off every time; Hudson can't do anything except ruck; Paine is going well at AFL level and learning consistency, he needs to keep on at the task, not have his progress interrupted by flying interstate just to sit in a stand and miss his VFL game. Nope. Bringing Clarke and Sinclair was a good choice.

Really disappointing to hear that Cloke is out of the side, as Brisbane had no real defensive options to match up on him. If the reports of it raining in Brisbane is true, then the game is going to be won by the smaller guys, so the likes of Elliott and Krakouer might prove to be the difference. I wouldn't mind seeing Lynch play up in full forward and seeing what he can do as a big forward marking option.

In regards to the changes, I'm very happy to see Martin, Shaw and J.Thomas in the side. I'm a little bit weary of Didak's form in the VFL, but hopefully he proves the critics wrong. He's starting as the sub and I don't expect him to do too much to be honest. Disappointing to see Dwyer and Russell out, but the Witts exclusion makes sense. Hopefully Marty plays a blinder as Cloke's replacement.

blah blah blah...

Cloke out, Lynch has to play full forward and won't be much of a help for Jolly.
Lucky Jolly isn't the one thats out or Lynch would have had to go into the ruck and we wouldn't have a proven tall target up forward.

Feel free to ask me to explain some other elementary things you have trouble understanding :)
