This.
A five-year-old girl has won the right to ongoing counselling and a $9000 payout for being sexually abused by another child at a Victorian day care centre.
The girl was suffering considerably and blames herself for what happened, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal was recently told.
Between the ages of two and four, the girl was bullied by a girl several months older than her, who pulled the victim's hair, kicked her, hit her and put her hands tightly around her throat and strangled her.
The victim was also forcefully undressed, including her underwear, and had her face and body licked. The older girl also used objects to sexually assault the victim and threatened to kill her if she told the teachers at the centre.

Seriously WTF?

I have no issues with the payment, my issue is the other little girl, "several months older" so she would be still aged 3-4 years old doing shit like this. WTF was she seeing at home? How does a 3-4 year old learn that kind of behaviour?

That truly is disturbing reading. The young perpetrator must have had some exposure to graphic sexual activity in order to perform/mimic such acts. Her home situation demands to be fully investigated as that poor young girl needs massive help immediately.

My first guess is that she must have been on the receiving end of some pretty nasty behaviour herself, though perhaps it's not always that simple. I find it surprising that the police or DH&S apparently saw no need to investigate.

Youngest daughter is doing a 2nd yr essay (2000 words).

The subject is called Terrorism which is part of her second major in Criminology.

Part of the readings include an academic article on terrorism titled:

"Prosthetics of Law & the Anomic Violence of Drones"

The author Joseph Pugliese goes onto to argue (in part) that he:

....examines the relation of law to lethal unmanned aerial combat technologies (drones) which could conduct war & killing at a distance in the context of two seemingly opposed figures: The parenthetical & the prosthetic....

The subject is basically called terrorism (not theory & practice) thanks be the lord & the sources include: Heidegger, Arent, Foucault, Nietzsche etc as extrapolated / mediated / used through newer writers such as the bloke mentioned above.

Well FMD. The author ran over me with his language truck & now I'm afraid of cars.

phew, I'm glad they didn't say Keilor Mausoleum. I did a fair bit of steel work on the extension there

On another note, still hoping for Princes Park renovations to collapse :)
