Percentage at 108.47...

It was at 110+ at half time... wasted opportunity.

Still happy with the first half and the effort of some of the players e.g.
Shaw, Swan, etc

Maybe AFL standard footballers can't support 18 clubs. These few games against weak teams have been just pathetic to watch.

Would have to acknowledge the impact of the RSPCA's intervention at 1/2 time.

Pie's were slaughtering the dishlickers and the PC dog-lovers out there weren't going to have a bar of it and called in the cavalry.

Well, you come up with a better explanation!

Eye on the bye after half time...

No big deal, plenty of % to boost after the bye with GC, Port and GWS still to come...

Reidy ok??

Take GC out of that boost equation.

Great first half, miserable second half.

This is why I predicted a 4-5 goal win. I knew we couldnt play 4qtrs!!!
Then when a thumping on on the cards at half time we then decide to take our foot off and just go through the motions.

Horrible football right through 2nd half. Is it that young players can't keep up the tempo required for a full game ? Did the Dogs finally get their structures right ? Are we too inclined to go sideways and back, meaning that our forward line is hopelessly clogged when we finally get it there.

the handball-happy overpossession game wasn't there in the first half - so where did it come from ?

We aren't a top team at this stage, though the development is promising.

Terrific first half, ordinary second half.

Great games by Heater, Swan, Pendles, Clokey and Marley Williams was also very good.

8-4 is a good return with our draw and I think we can play a whole lot better than we have to date. It's a cliche' but true that it's a marathon and not a sprint and at the 21km mark we have plenty of improvement left in us.

Enjoy the break boys and all Nicksters too.

4 points in the bank, no major injuries, tiny % increase, bye to freshen up, that will do for now.

Flogging a poor side by half time only to kick 4.5 in the second and be outscored is so very disappointing and only highlights the gulf between Haw/Gee/Syd and the rest. Flat.
