wasn't buckley instrumental in developing the forward press that won us that flag? or is that my memory being wrong? Mick had one of the best group of talent thanks to hine, had a magnificent assistant coaching staff and was one of the longest serving coaches ever to not win a premiership before that, dunno if huge amount of credit is due his way. Yes I'm dirty at the prick for going to carlton :DD

Jack, turn it up, you know damn well I was rapt we won that flag under the old bloke, and I did appreciate him then, greatly. BUT, as you your self pointed out many times, he was the best resourced coach, and the highest paid coach, in the LEAGUE , with outstanding assistants and a fantastic group of players. He did not do it all, no way, and it took him a long time to finally do it, you were calling for him to be dumped before we won the flag, as I recall. Now hes with the arch enemy, and broke a signed contract, and has been very disparaging to our club, that I cannot forgive. snide remarks and pokes at our coach, and our club, I will not tolerate from a grumpy old sod whose ego is running rampant. :!: :roll:
