We certaintly shut up the critics who were having a field day with "The June Hoodoo" crap and the "No Buckley No Collingwood" crap.

where are all the McKee knockers tonight ???
I thought McKee was very servicable, but more importantly he freed up Josh to go forward and create a real match up headache for the Dees, Look back to the replay and see how many time that Josh set us up with both class play and hard work on the groung. No one could cope with the pure class that this bloke demonstrates.
Good allround effort

McKee had a great game. Most of his touches resulted in positives for the Magpies and I loved the way he burrowed into the base of packs. The guy looked like he was playing for his football life.
The fact that the umpire had to ask who was taking ruck duties in the centre, showed what a mastersroke putting McKee in the ruck and Josh in Bucks position was. The Melbourne pricks couldn't work that one out.
It's just a pity that all players played so well as Steve McKee deserved votes for his performance today.

I think the Pies silenced a lot of their critics today, including C'wood fans who have bagged the likes of McKee, Dimma, Tubby, etc. McKee had a good game, I must admit to being a little surprised when I saw both McKee and Josh going in for the centre bounces, but it did seem to unsettle the Dees. we all know the speed and agility of Josh but McKee showed in patches today that he is no slouch in this area as well, winning some ground contests, feeding off effective handpasses and even chipping in for a goal. The much maligned Dimma held Woewodin to 10 possessions, which was fantastic. Tubby also did a good job on the dangerous Robertson, keeping him to 11 touches and 1 goal.

it was just a fantastic performance. everything was quality, the tackling, chasing, backing up teammates, running in numbers, sheparding, etc. they intimidated melb with their size and in the air, with Chris TALENT grabbing what must surely be the mark of the year. After last week's failure against the Swan's flooding, the Pies tore apart the demons' feeble transitional flooding tactics with their fast and powerful running game. The cheersquad was fantastic today as well, you guys were in fine form!! it was great to see Image

after the break, it's scary to see the guys that C'wood could bring back - Burns, Rintoul, Steinfort, and players waiting in the wings like Didak, Scotland, Chippa. Oh, and a guy wearing No. 5 who apparently can play a bit.
