As an aside, Snoop Dog highly values your bloke Karpany as highly skilled & talented player, great skill set & doing very well this year. Actually we've got a number of elite runners already but the problem is they're nearly all one-paced or plodders (ie: Sidebottom, Clarke, Lynch, Cloke etc) &/or poor users of the footy so I'd say what we actually need is elite runners who are quick, good decision makers, and can execute with precision. I'd also tend to preferring us to pick at least one taller mid, but it shouldn't prevent us from picking a better player. The midget talk is a little overblown anyway. In terms of mids we have Thomas and Kennedy. Blair is more a forward and possibly a fringe player now. We also have one of the few genuine 190cm mids in Pendles and Harry on a wing. Up forward we have Dwyer (fringe, and likely even depth player now) and Elliott along with Blair. As a Rookie we have Martin who may never get another game. That's the full midget list.
What we actually need is elilte runners. Not talls (and the two don't often go together). The risk with most of the taller types is that they are hybrid players, not specialists. Will they ever become elite in any one position? It's hard to tell. I wouldn't mind picking one of them, but at 6 I'd probably prefer a definite genuine midfielder.

In no particular order Aish, Freeman, Bontempelli, Lennon, Kolodjashnij, Billings, McDonald (Nth pick
I'd settle for any two of those.
Salem, Taylor, Crouch, McCarthy, Sheed and Acres would be next in line.
