You are right Dave, because he's an inside mid, and they tend to be the 'footballers' while the outsiders tend to be the 'athletes'.

He has excellent reflexes and a quick mind, has a strong sense for where to release the ball to best advantage the receiver and is a tenacious tackler.

When you consider that we have Josh Thomas coming along nicely at the same time we seem to be in good shape at the coalface.
they can smell what we're cookin'

Watch the GWS v Suns game late in the season (last match?) if you can Dave. Think he picked up 30+ possies that day in a game where the Giants got pumped.

Demonstrated a fair engine and did some very good things all day.

I can't wait for the day we have both Adams and Marley Williams plying in our midfield. They'll be known as Crash and Bash. Bring it on.

Thought his positioning was very good. Reading the play and getting himself into the right spots to affect the contest.

Also very strong at stoppages and from memory kicked one or two majors. General footy smarts were impressive.

Very much looking forward to what he brings to our midfield.

Years ago Collingwood had our own version of Nolan, a huge full forward type chap by the name of Mark Bayliss. He would pose for journos with a can of VB in his hand on a Friday night before a game........ LOL.
