Do you think we are the only club keeping close tabs on him? The Hawks have been keeping close tabs on him and it's been reported Clarko is in to him. I can't see any reason why he would choose the pies over the Hawks given that both are powerful clubs, have excellent development programs, and are consistently playing finals. The fact that he barracks for the Hawks would just be the icing on the cake if he got there.

You know what, that would probably work. Lol a club endorsed and funded binge with hookers and donkeys and anything else .....All it would need is a media tip off.
Why, you just said Caro would be there...

Its the perfect plan.

P.S - Caro is the donkey...
Was scratching my head about the donkey.

Interesting, HS article reckons he missed a meeting in Sept with the Hawks and may miss getting picked again.

I have a feeling he'll get overlooked, but if someone does select him it will be Hawthorn.

Massive risk for any club considering to select him in the draft but they could reap the rewards if the kid gets on the 'straight and narrow'.

If he's still available at pick 65 we are a chance to take him IMO.

Very happy to take Conlon with pick 65 as well if still there.

If either/both are still there and we don't take one I'll be disappointed.

It's pick 65 take a chance.

Dammit this means I will end up paying attention to the draft all the way down to 65, without another Pies selection after 10.

I better go get more beer
they can smell what we're cookin'

Hawks just picked him in the draft now.

Geez. A forward line containing Rioli, Hill and Garlett is going to be a headache.

^^All we can hope is that Garlett gives the Hawks a headache first. Because he has the talent (already kicked 40+ goals at WAFL level), if he realises it he'll be a huge steal.

Interesting, not taking him with their 1st pick tells me there's still a bit of doubt over him. Not much to lose at pick 38 and well worth the risk for a potential steal of the century.

The premiership team was always going to be the only club that could afford to take this risk. Either gunna be nothing lost nothing gained or the steal of the draft which puts the icing on their already impressive cake.

Not like we were ever going to use one of our top 10 picks on him. For all we know we would have taken him in the 60s but he wasn't there.
