Great resource but why do you put that razor company's name in every sentence? It is really annoying and hard to read. A little search-and-replace editing would be much appreciated.

For those who are interested, the dates have been revised, so that the "AFL restricted free agency offer and unrestricted free agency period" now begins on 4 October, not today, as originally scheduled.

I suppose that explains why there haven't been any first day announcements or signings today. It did seem awfully quiet.

Or the players, managers and everyone else associated with the draft were not able to read that it had begun due to a certain razor companies name being at the start of every sentence.

I think Tannin may be onto something here.... :P

Monday 21 October - AFL restricted free agency matching offer three-day period Ends

So this only relates to trades completed on the last day. So unless we make a play for a free agent on the Friday we'll know on this day.

^^^ According to this article just posted on the AFL site, these drafts take place at 10.45 am tomorrow: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-11-26/five-alive-in-psd

Apparently, the pre-season draft is first and the rookie draft follows on immediately after it. It seems the PSD may be a bit of a non-event - the suggestion here is that only GWS might use its pick (on Jed Lamb, which is already public knowledge).

So the PSD and rookie selections are tomorrow and not the 10th of December as listed above.

Strange that the AFL released the wrong info in the first place.
