my mighty team of 15-18 year olds qualified for the A reserve grand final, its been a rough road, we were top all season, only beaten once when we had 5 players, and then by the roughest, meanest bunch of bitches around! ugh, that was an ugly game. we lost to them in the first final, won through last week, got ourselves all revved up to play another "fun" game, hoping we would survive, and I get a phone call,

the other team....forfeited.

WTF? who does that??

6 hours before the game. they had nine when we played them, now they cant get 5 to get on the court?

so, yeah, we do a Bradbury, and even though I know in my heart we deserve it, I just cant lose that feeling.....

and to their credit not one of my kids is happy, they want to play. im gunna have to come up with a speech to stop them dumping the trophies!!

bugger bugger bugger

IT'S turned into a very sticky situation.

Police in the southern US state of Georgia were called over Thanksgiving after a woman was found glued to a toilet seat in a shopping centre, according to a report carried in The Altanta Chronicle.

In what appeared to be a nightmare situation for the poor lady, emergency medical officers were needed to help remove her from the seat.

She even had to be taken from the shopping centre in Banks Crossing to the hospital to get the no doubt painful and embarrassing procedure done.

Officers later discovered three other toilet seats were smeared with glue while a bottle of construction grade super glue was found nearby.

All in all a not-very-funny, pretty horrible prank.

Well, that's what police thought until they started looking at video footage of the rest room entrance.

The film showed no one had actually entered the toilets in a reasonable amount of time to have actually committed the nasty prank.

Yep, they now believe the woman may have glued herself to the seat.

Deputy Sheriff Carissa McFaddin said: "There is no evidence to show that someone did it besides who was in there."

Exactly why the woman would do such a thing remains unclear but police said there was not enough evidence to charge anyone with anything.

The slightly bizarre case has some history in the US, according to the New York Daily News.

A woman in Kentucky got stuck to the toilet seat at a Walmart last year in a similar incident, while a man

You don't get to a grand final with-out earning it...(generally).
If the other team hasn't got the guts (or manners) to front-up that's their problem.
Your girls earned that trophy, they should enjoy it.

.....(cowards me thinks).

If true it's amazing how even wealthy women are blinded by money.

I mean this guy is butt ugly and looks more and more like his father each year.

I'll never understand women.
I don't see what's supposed to be so strange about this or how you can derive some generalisation about 'women' from it. Both probably have the personality of a concrete block; why shouldn't they hit it off? This pairing is probably good evidence of how shallow people of both genders can be, but did we really need any more evidence of that? And would Kerr be less shallow if Jamie looked like George Clooney? Think about it.
Not that I really care but is it possible that these 2 people just like each other's company? I'm also curious as to how you drew the conclusion that they "probably have the personality of a concrete block"?

Possibly a little unfair, admittedly! It's just a hunch...

But yes, I know you're right and I shouldn't be so judgemental.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty sure I've got all of my team coming to the presentation, about to head off, we were meant to play same time as A grade, then the presentations are together, so I will watch the A final (should be a ripper, at least 1 or 2 sent off!) and then we get out trophies!

Cheers, xxxx

And thanks

Didn't you see the video, Jo? She knitted. With her vagina.

Tasteless it may be, but that takes skillz.
