Those of you who saw the Footy Show tonight must be wondering, as I am, just what Ed is doing hitching his star to that dickhead Newman.
It's not the actual pie-throwing but the accusation that Shwarz was responsible for Melbournes shocking performance. The guy played 2 minutes!
Then he continually baits him with inane comments.
I hope that the 3 panelists take him out the back and beat the crap out of him.

I don't want to defend Newman in any way, but I don't want to see a good show wrecked by an absolute cretin. I hope they arsehole Newman, and get someone who is intelligent, witty and a respected football identity. Newman is a narcisistic windbag who has built a reputation by hitching a ride with his more talented co-workers. The biggest problem is that NO-ONE in the media will come out against him, as they know Eddie and the rest of his media allies will bury them.

Just picked this post up from Hotrods bulliten board.
I was in the audience of the Footy Show last night, so I was able to see what transpired during the ad breaks. Newman immediately walked off the set, seemingly disgruntled. It seemed to me that he felt that he had been hard done by; that Schwarz had over-reacted! Schwarz was genuinely pissed off, while it was clear that Gale was morally outraged. Meanwhile, Eddie seemed quite flustered - he questioned each member of his support crew, asking whether they had advance warning of Sam's stunt. It seemed clear that Eddie was not in on the stunt.

A joke's a joke but Sam went too far, Schwartz' milestone was meant to be one to remember and because of injury he didn't get a proper run at it but to embarrass him like that is just going too far, and everyone on the set seemed to know it but Sam.
- I know that if he did that to one of our stars there'd be a million Collingwood supporters jumping down his throat.

I like Sam Newman but i think at times he goes a bit to far. I didnt watch the footy show but i saw what happened on fox news and i felt so sorry for schwarz. Maybe someone at channel 9 or whatever should sit sam down and give him a good talk and tell him if something else like that happens well then his gone.
