He moved over and I got all the usual finger salutes and verbal abuse then when I turned down my street he stopped at the end of the street for some reason so I walked back towards him. He was again abusing me and telling me he was calling the police on me so I quietly informed him that I have a dashcam and I filumed all his antics I then walked back to my car once I was sure he was on his way and wasn't about to stalk me by seeing where I was going.
I'm going to be investing in a helmet cam. There is every day a F*ckhead of a driver driving dangerously for bicyclists, ignoring the bike lane, going through red lights, etc. There are bad bike riders too of course but the drivers can cause the death if bike riders....not the other way round.
Most drivers & most bike riders most of the time are fine. Taxi drivers are the worst though most of the time. My usual form of abuse for taxi drivers is:
"Aghrr, you're a taxi driver, of course I shouldn't expect you to know the road rules".
What is it with some drivers that don't stop at the large white strip before the lights but think it's OK to park on or over the actual pedestrian crossing or stop on the little box with a bicycle painted on it? Don't get me started on motor scooters using bicycle lanes either....
Having said that I tell off bicyclists going through red lights - which meets with all manner of replies
