Good to be conservative.

Having said that I expect he will win 4 brownlows, 3 norm smiths and 8 copelands

Adams 'coached' by the best

Post by Dave The Man »

Great Article on Adams.
"I can find the ball all right, but sometimes I don't use it as well as I'd like," he said.

"I don't think you can ever be too good a kick. It's one of my areas of improvement and I've done a lot of work over the pre-season on that."
Glad to Hear he wants to Improve his Kicking :thumbsu:
While praising the coaching staff during his two seasons at the Giants, Adams said it was a big help coming to a club with the likes of Scott Pendlebury and Luke Ball on the playing list.

He said the pair had helped "coach" him during his first four months at the club.
Got a Couple Stars Helping him which is a Great Sign :D

I counted 50 um in 6 um minutes.

You'll find it either strangely hypnotic um or just plain annoying.

Yeah I noticed that too. No doubt the media trainers at the club will be pointing it out to him. I figure we can give him a break since he wouldn't have done very much in front of the cameras at GWS.

I'm with Dave. And if Tony ah um Abbott can become PM, I'm sure Taylor Adams will get by OK as a footballer. :)

I got the joke swoop. :D

At least Adams says um instead of em like Bruce McAvaney does. For some reason that's always annoyed me, or maybe it's just Bruce who does.

To provide the alternate example that proves the rule, Krudd was a very good speaker and a dud PM.

So um, yeah, obviously, um, I think um, Adams should obviously be a good footballer and um, obviously, his um lack of public speaking um ability should obviously not be a um problem. Obviously.

Well who cares, he gets paid to play footy not for his public speaking ability and he is a damn fine footballer.
