After we get pumped by 10 goals on Saturday night I'm sure he'll cry himself to sleep.Piesnchess wrote:Sour old bastard, knows he has a shit team, when he thought hed have an instant flag side. TBH I can't believe a team could play so badly and still be in it tonight, us under Bucks would have thrown the towel in after qtr time.
But let's gets behind bucks! yay!!!

It's time Eddie contacted MM...as an old mate, to express his concerns, once again, about his health. At times during the game he looked like he was about to explode and have a heart attack.

Blues lost it with missed opportunities tonight (Waite, Warnock, Garlett, Gibbs all sprayed the ball badly). Their recruiting has been poor and generally they are soft. Murphy, who gets pushed off it by second year players, Gibbs and Kreuzer are massive disappointments for mine. Other first round picks like Kane Lucas and Matthew Watson are also useless. Mick can coach, but these guys generally can't play.
One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership

Yep, Mick can coach their team is just shit due to poor recruiting.

Given that this is going to be a long year, while we get everybody out of the sick bay and try and get our act together, little rewards like last night are like gold.
Bad luck to Mick Malthouse, but he is not the first premiership coach to inherit the team from hell - Alan Joyce and Denis Pagan say hi. Football can be cruel.
One half of the double completed, let's hope for a win on Saturday.

Not a chance, Carlton will be lucky to finish above 14th.Defender wrote:I'm not sure what to think TBH, the scum kick (on slow play) from HB to a 1 on 1 on the wing, 3 Richmond players were leading the charge to support, not a Carlton player in sight, this happened many times, yet they were unlucky not to win, the scum will finish above is this year.

Do you seriously want to sack Bucks after 1 round this season???? Like do you really mean doing this at Collingwood?Defender wrote:After we get pumped by 10 goals on Saturday night I'm sure he'll cry himself to sleep.Piesnchess wrote:Sour old bastard, knows he has a shit team, when he thought hed have an instant flag side. Yeah, watched him and I'm buggered as to how the Collingwood medical team ruled that his ankles were gone... Reminds me of what they said about Stevie J's ankles years ago....themonk wrote:As much as I enjoyed the loss, seeing Thomas move like that really hurtsANNODAM wrote:Anyways, nothing wrong with Daisy's ankle, that's for sure!
I know it's early but if our decision on Thomas was purely a medical one (a big if), then our medical team may have got another one wrong.

Yes, Thomas looked in good nick. He was clearly unhappy about something in the relationship with Buckley (I still remember his vicious glance at the coach's box two years ago after he'd kicked a goal). Actually Carlton looked pretty well-coached in the second half once Richmond's class was blunted by fatigue. They played man-on-man, not zone, and looked pretty good doing it. I wish we would do the same.
