A good, competitive half of footy.
Big stat for Grundy: 20 first half hit outs. Next best is 9 to Simpson, McIntosh only has 4.
Really good to see the FasMan back. Liked his kicking out of defense. Good to have someone kicking in who can hit a target over 50m away.
Don't think anyone's been great for us tonight: Sidey, Herry, Pendles and Beams have all been quite good.
A big tick for White. Gets the ball around the ground, can actually win a tap in the ruck and has kicked 2 goals. He's the perfect third tall slash ruck option if he's able to play near his best. Has been good tonight so far.
Some nice finishing from Elliott. When he's on he adds a lot to our forward line.

Where are you watching the game PTID?pietillidie wrote:Reward for effort, well done, Pies.
Forget the scoreboard, the exciting thing is that stylistically something is coming together, despite us being at big man down at the back.

Superb ruckwork by Grundy, what a jet.
Well done to Jesse White he's busted a gut and kicked a couple and Elliott is a really getting the balance right as a small forward.
Loving Jack Frost's game as well. He's made a couple of blues but by gee he has a dip.
Maxy good again and it's good to see.
Swan is carrying something for sure though. He doesn't have his burst of speed at all at the moment.

Very competitive so far, we don't seem overawed by pricks like stevie j and bartel, we are having a real dip, all we can ask for so far. Line ball game, but just hope our younger guys can finish all over them, run em off their legs. Go Pies. !
