Pies v Cats in London this weekend

Post by Jace »

Hello wonderful people of London. I am visiting from Oz & keen to watch the pies v cats game on Saturday morning.

Can any of you tell me where the best place to catch the game is. Would be good to go to a venue with some atmosphere, but given the time might be a stretch.

Thanks in advance

Just thought I'd piggy back on this topic :)

Going to be in and around London from mid April until late May this year, also looking for somewhere to watch games, especially ANZAC Day.

I'm a bit out of the loop on this these days, but try the slug in Fulham (they do a big day for anzac day iirc), don't think there's that many Walkabouts left these days... the Alex in Clapham shows games too, phone them to find out if they are showing it live.

good luck, if you find a place, post it here!

Cheers

Thanks Dave, will see how I go & update you if I have any luck.

p.s King don't expect to catch the footy shows over here & video on news articles, they are blocked by region. Which I understand for shows available overseas, but Talking Footy etc really????

In the end I went to a pub near where I was staying (Stayed near the Tower of London/Tower Bridge) & they were more than happy to put it on ESPN where I watched & had a lovely breakfast. Sure I was the only one interested & had no sound but still enjoyable despite the result
