Oh thats right; on a big pile of money
They win.
Which is nice for them coz they don't win games of football
they can smell what we're cookin'
Round 22 2007
Melbourne 21 13 139
def
Carlton 15 18 108
In a game dubbed the "Kruezer cup" the scum held on for the loss to secure the prized priority draft selection No.1.
Fast forward 6 years 4 rounds and once again both Melbourne and Carlton find themselves holding up the ladder and once again the scum prevail the losers.
So I ask you are the scum tanking already or are they really so bad at present they can't even beat Melbourne?
P.S-Carlton supporters are already talking about compensation for Bryce Gibbs but surely he isn't worth anymore than an end of first round selection and not a potential top 10 pick they're hanging there hats on.

Depends on how much money is thrown at Gibbs. If he is paid market value it will be end of first round. If he has truckloads of cash thrown his way (can't see it happening, he is nowhere near what Frawley is worth, and Frawley ain't worth 800k) then maybe directly after their first rounder.swoop42 wrote:Round 22 2007

Either way we know we can rely on the scum recruiting department to royally **** up their picks anyway, even with 2 or 3 top tenners.

I now have a new reason to hate Brisbane - assuming Adelaide gets within cooee of St Kilda tomorrow, they (and their terrible percentage) will be on only thing separating Carlton from the bottom of the ladder! Deeper than they have ever been before folks, we're talking 18th!!
Hopefully they can take it to Richmond next week at the Gabba, even if Carlton win, they will be on the bottom for one night at least!!
GO Pies!

Mick's past it now! His gameplan is outdated and it looks like he's lost the players down at Princes Park and that's assuming if he's had the players at all! I'm still shocked by how badly he's performed at Carlton in one sense but we also have to remember that he joined the club as a way to prove a point to our club, specifically Eddie and Bucks most likely.
Mick should have retired gracefully or stuck with the Director of Coaching role at Collingwood but his ego was too big to handle the fact that he was no longer the coach at a club that had been sticking by him for 11 years even when there were times that he could have been on the verge of being sacked.
Karma can be a real bitch at the best of times!

Matty Lloyd is dead wrong on Madhouse, the old bastard is far too beyond it for a total rebuild of their shit list. He should have done it end of last season, but the grumpy old swine thought he had a flag team, at 11 o clock . How wrong the old fart is, he has no time for a rebuild. He will be replaced end of next season, by perhaps, Voss the toss or some such wanker like him.
