Great day of football!
Carlton losing capped off the perfect day today! I was always hoping it would happen but not in a million years did I think it would come true. Well done to the Demons today on making us Pies supporters very happy!
Port Power are a strong and capable side under Hinkley but Brisbane are awful as well. I think sacking Voss for Leppitsch was a mistake for them in my opinion.
Bulldogs will be happy with their victory especially since they have the Blues and Crows coming up in the next two weeks.
With key positional players out of the side, it's no surprise that the Cats dominated the Eagles tonight.

Good comparison Dave. The Hawks do resemble us from early 2011 but we can only hope they can fade out as the season goes on as well. I can't bear the idea of seeing them go back-to-back. However in saying that, they are without a doubt the best team in the competition at the moment. Hard to see who'll stop them on this formDave The Man wrote:Hawks are Scary Good at the Moment. ^^It is. There's only one other team that's at or near their peak, in terms of development, and that's Freo. They're not good enough to beat the Hawks though.
Power's the other one, they're still building, but by the end they could be a match for them. The Cats always challenge the Hawks as well, there's just no way they can still be a top team this year though, surely. Then there's Sydney who might be a threat if they get it all together. Too reliant on star forwards for mine and not good enough through the middle any more.

In a few more years, the Hawks will be even with us on Premierships.
Currently, they sit on 11.
No one can deny they are THE most successful AFL side, winning a flag every decade or so...
I don't know how they do it, but they just keep producing the goods.

They look well balanced all over the ground to me with key talls who can play at either end and a multitude of strong looking medium sized midfield/utility types who are clean users of the ball, perhaps second only to the hawks.
They don't have many injuries at present outside of Bellchambers and Ryder so depth is the biggest query over them.
They'll be very hard to beat come Anzac day.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!
