A mate of mine knows the kid who replaced him, Harry Thompson.

Funnily enough, he's been wearing a glove on his right hand this year. To protect an existing injury, maybe?

Confirmation:
On the Darcy Moore front, he missed the walkover game against Queensland with slight bone bruising in his arm and is expected back in a fortnight (this week is a week off for TAC Cup clubs as it's Easter).
Great to see it's not Major

So dad caught a flight with Hine this week. Hine is in New York before going to San Francisco meeting with NFL teams to discuss recruiting and salary cap techniques.

Hine confirmed that Darcy will be a pie.

and the confirmed he is going to be our Centre Half forward of the future.

In 1979 I was forced to go to bed before all the Brownlow votes were counted (because I was a very young - but passionate - pies fan) and when I woke, mum had written me a note saying simply "Peter won". I was so happy. When dad told Hine that story, Hine responded by telling dad that Collingwood were going to make me very happy all these years later!

I heard tonight that he is being paid very well right now to be training at Collingwood. Can that be right?

(Source is someone who knows jack about footy, but is legitimately close to the kid)

I doubt it as I'm pretty sure clubs have to get special permission from the AFL for it to occur unless of course that club has already committed to drafting him.

Of course we could be employing someone to act as a personal trainer who is conducting private training sessions with him.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

Saw Darcy play against the Falcons today. Missed the 1st quarter but my mate said he took 2 great contested marks during the quarter. He took another 3 or 4 great grabs. One of them I could hear the air being squeezed out of the ball. He is a togh kid when he couldn't get to right spot to fly for ball h hit the pack and made the defenders hurt. He played full forward with only minor rucking duties. Don't think he kicked a goal in the last 3 quarters but had few assists and kicked a few points. Looks a real player.
