A quick check of the match thread during the 1st qtr reminded me why I don't post on here.
By wll means not all of you but some need to pull your damn heads in if you want to be called Collingwood SUPPORTERS. You want the team to show guts and heart when you have none.

Great win pies

Absolutely fantastic effort by the boys. The first qtr had me very worried indeed. That was a huge comeback and showed some fighting spirit to boot. Great game by Swanny. Had him best on ground probably from Sidebottom. Now let's smash the scum and I will be ecstatic! Hopefully Fas and Youngy not too badly injured.

A super win. The Bombers 37 point lead never looked genuine to me. It was fuelled by frees, a couple of lucky kicks and a few misses from us. As soon as we got our hands on the ball and pressured their mids, they didn't look like scoring.

Great game from Swan, he and Beams were our best today, with Sidey and Pendles next. Big credit goes to Young for his excellent first half. One of the few who really withstood the pressure early (thought Beams and Ball were the other two).

And again loved Goldsack's work. Some great chase downs today.

The 2010-2011 vice is back, and we are a serious top 4 contender. Individual performances matter, but it's the teamwork that's putting us into a winning position. Yet again the opposition had no answer.

Hoping for good news on Young and Fas's injuries. We surely can't be down two more defenders.
Well done boys!

ABC site saying that Fasalo has a foot injury - that doesn't sound good

for a showcase match the umpires were disgraceful in the first.
i know we were feeling our way around in the first and decided
that backwards was the way forward, don't ever do that again
Collingwood as that is the quickest way to get offside rule makers
and general consensus around footy circles which includes those
moggots in disguise umpires.
second 1/4 Blair, Pendels, Young, Goldy were magnificent. played
the game we know they can with Sidey finishing brilliantly, well done
Jesse White aswell.
third 1/4, we needed to win the game again, and with the scumps
already having there time in the sun  we finally had a even
playing field again. good contests all round the ground and with our
contested ball winning game plan we kept our noses in front with
Sw36anny the difference. i must mention Jesse again with a great kick
from the side line, never in doubt even after he took the mark!
last 1/4. again well done Swanny and Elliott match winners.
it was a epic last 1/4 that showed off what the #1 code in the
land can produce.
my concerns are how influential the powers to be
are when it comes to the muppets they employ.
BT is a Collingwood icon or he used to be and now is an embarrassment
to his many followers that are Black and White.
Leigh Matthews has sold his sole to the devil in return for a pay check.
and there are the other one eyed anti Collingwood majority that seem to
have an agenda against us, its starting to take its toll on the game IMO.
come on Bucks GT must never be sub again. don't know who should be,
but come to think of it half a game maybe what two players in the side
are capable of atm.
no second chances

If you leave aside the massive fight back it's hard to judge this performance given that some expected a big win.

I didn't so I'm just glad to get the 4 points against a quality opponent.
But you will if you are willing to work hard after getting jumped. It wont be the last time we will be behind this year and I was happy to see us fight back and then hang on under extreme adversity, don't forget we were a man down in the last (Young).
WELL DONE ..... GO PIES

Yes, Beams is good offensively, but he played on Heppell for quite a bit and gave him too much latitude. He needs to anticipate the play a bit better as he is just a tad slow.

Great win by the Pies who are showing a lot of character and seem to have a good sense of team spirit again which has been lacking for a few years.
Daicos, impossible angle ... Goal!

^^He also had 9 tackles (I'm defending Beams? There's a first ;)). Maybe Heppell was his direct opponent, but players are not always instructed to play close. We may have been getting more from Beams the other way.
Well done boys!
