If Young did get him in the head, I haven't seen enough replays of it as yet, then either way he should miss a week for that and will possibly miss a week for his leg anyway.swoop42 wrote:Given that the bald turd had to have a concussion check I dare say yes.AN_Inkling wrote:How about Frost's bump on Heppell? Any head high contact there?
Young left the ground and got him high so he's in a bit of trouble IMO.
This is one time where a suspension probably isn't going to matter.

i would love Heppell to be Macced out of the game but Watson would hurt us even more.swoop42 wrote:simon tonna wrote:AN_Inkling wrote:^^He also had 9 tackles (I'm defending Beams? There's a first ). Maybe Heppell was his direct opponent, but players are not always instructed to play close. We may have been getting more from Beams the other way.
in the pre game thread someone mentioned Macca should go on Heppell
for the first tagging role. he didn't have much of it in the first 3/4s but
could have been a different story in the last if they got a role on.
keep it in the vault for next time Pies for i though it was the only concern
in a brilliantly coached match.
Heppell had 19 disposals till half time and was allowed to much latitude all day.
Beams takes the next best follower in this case Heppell and did more damage the pro Collingwood way. but saying that he's a dangerous player and needs to be stopped at all times.
no second chances

Wasn't a bump. Young was clearly attempting to get the ball. Shouldn't even get to the MRP.swoop42 wrote:Given that the bald turd had to have a concussion check I dare say yes.AN_Inkling wrote:How about Frost's bump on Heppell? Any head high contact there?

Young was jumping at the ball and Chapman moved backwards. Free kick to Young would be my call if I was the umpire.Stupied wrote:Wasn't a bump. Young was clearly attempting to get the ball. Yeah, I thought Heppell was an option but in the end didn't think any of the Bombers mids had significant impact over the 4 quarters so Watson was probably the right option with the full benefit if hindsight.simon tonna wrote:AN_Inkling wrote:^^He also had 9 tackles (I'm defending Beams?
