What are you talking about. The boys are being conservative here. Worry when then express what they really think.

With you here. Trying to remain calm and postive but getting nervous. The funny thing is, I don't know why because I honestly think we will win this!!!

Go figure! I think you are absolutely right, it's a affliction one gets having supported collingwood for so long....
Yep having lived through the colliwobbles years, it's the "only Collingwood can lose from here" syndrome.
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

Marley back in ?
Said elsewhere that I wouldn't rule him out if his ankle was okay. Had limited game time on Saturday but had a real impact while he was playing with dynamic running and hard hitting defensive pressure. He's done all the training since withdrawing from the practice match so it's only match fitness that he's lacking, could be the ideal sub Friday.

Not keen on Marley playing after a limited game time.
Adams or Dwyer to replace Fas in the side, Harry to play a more defensive role.

I think Marley is tough enough to guts out the game.
His kicking was good on the weekend and he provided lots of run and stuck some tackles.
With Fas out, he might be the most logical replacement.

Would Marley be much of a surprise?

I'd be more surprised if it was Fasolo, Yagmoor, Martin, Armstrong or Mooney. Even more if it was Reid, has he been training?
Well done boys!

Spot on! he is the logical replacement for Faz. Small for a small and a tough one at that. Hope he bruzes a few of those Carlscum players.

Marley is in superb condition after an extended pre-season.

After watching him in top form in last weekend's VFL game I say bring him straight in.

Karnezis perhaps? I read/heard a comment somewhere saying he was another month away.... after watching Saturday's game I don't know why... but could be the perfect deflection!

Mind you.... surely Lynch to LTI list and Martin elevated wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility??

Don't know why but I'm worried about this week... we should absolutely kill them... but as many have pointed out.... these are games we've made an artform of losing.

Given that the Blues have three talls up forward, might it not make sense to bring in Nathan Brown for Faz. At least initially. we could always sub out one of the big guys if it isnt working and bring on another small. Maytbe that makes us too big??

You would think so, can't imagine anyone else s selection being a 'surprise'
