The first prototypes of a high-tech suit of armor to give soldiers superhuman abilities could be ready to test this summer, according to top military officials. The suits, which have drawn comparisons to the one worn by Marvel Comics superhero "Iron Man," could be delivered to special operations forces as early as June.
It already costs $27k to outfit an Aussie soldier.

I do not believe the video liked by TP was an Australian. I'm sure you enlighten yourself on a regular basis. You do not require my assistance.

Bit slow on the uptake there, Member. Tannin was responding to this question you posed in the previous post:

Of course you had to sneak the word "Australian" in there because Christians around the globe have been responsible for all sorts of atrocities over the past 2000 years. So, Christianity is let off the hook because you've defined it narrowly, but we all get to give Islam a good kicking again because of something that happened out in the back woods of Pakistan. Not exactly an even playing field there.

A Victorian mother is demanding answers after her teenage daughter's armpits were shaved by her teacher as part of the school's curriculum.

Melissa Woods, mother of 14-year-old Taylah, says her daughter was "extremely upset" when her armpits were shaved in front of two other girls in a classroom.

Having read the article I'd really want to know more detail before joining the lynch mob but I do think it's very very poor form.

I presume that special schools may need to do basic self care tasks for their students, particularly those with severe disabilities. It is just really just a question on how far a care-giver can go.

^ that's probably true but surely there are ways to do it whilst retaining the dignity of the person - an audience of any seems to me to be inappropriate and made me say WTF.
