Bucks said PK did his hammy at training. Plus Maxy with a calf. Sidey will get a week or 3. So they're mounting up again.

I assume Ball, Swan, Grundy were resting niggles and back next week. Reid should be back at vfl next week.

Yeah just saw the presser. Expect Karnezis and Maxy to be out for up to a month. Although Ball, Swan and Grundy should be good to go.

Sidey probably misses a couple, luckily we play Demons and Bullies.

Good to see them blow it out in the last rather than coasting like earlier games
The ins have a lot of upside
Thomas to stay
Adams has to fix the kicking. Get Licca to talk to him about it. He had similar issues early on but worked them out. Back to the 2s again for Taylor
Seeds was good early but faded. Will be better for the run and can take Maxy's spot next week
Very happy with Young's delivery out of half back
Gotta get Reidy up forward firing and we re a chance against the best

Interesting when bucks mentioned the PK injury I think it was Gleeson mentioned the was disappointing for a guy so close to getting a game. Bucks response was "that was the external perception" but did mention he had done a power of work in the past month and showing good signs in the VFL.

A few of us had him coming in tonight during the week. I wonder how close he really was.

Neither was Adams.

At last, we get to build some percentage.

Pretty happy with that performance, with the outs we had & Maxy going off early.

Great to see Clokey back in form & he kicked some great goals - hopefully, he's turned the corner.

The back line stood up pretty well, though, besides Roo, they have a basket case of a forward line. They'd be lucky to score if he wasn't there.

Witt's played a pretty solid game, and White did well when in the ruck. Hope the finger was only dislocated, not broken.

How good was Beams? Just an awesome performance. And Thomas & Seedsman have earned their spots. Not sure about Adams. I don't think he's ready for seniors just yet. He wont keep his spot with Swan & Ball coming back.

All in all, a great start to the weekend. We just need the Lions to get up to top it off.

Get back on top.

86 points was more than I thought we'd get.

And after the first quarter I thought I was going to be on here whinging about the umpires, but there was a change after quarter time and we actually ended up winning the free kick count 18 to 17.
And there were definitely a few howlers for both teams.

If we can win the next two and be competitive against the hawks, we will deserve a top 4 spot. I REALLY want to beat the Hawks and we just might beat them now. I wouldn't have said that after round 1.

Whose next? Oh yeah, the Demons. Even without our C game we won by 86 points tonight. Surely we can expect a similar win against Melbourne?? But, yeah, as others have said, there are not certainties.

Gotta be happy with tonight's win though, even if it was against a depleted and sad St Kilda team.

Good to see Seedy slotting back in really well.
He's damaging entering the forward half, as is Young when he's on song.

Adams sounds like he'll be in the two's again next week, but it's all good experience, especially when you have Luke Ball to bring back. I would love to see Broomhead given a game in Maxy's spot and perhaps Martin should be elevate for Sidebottom - dear me, what was he thinking (not much obviously!) - Goldy going back with Frost and Keefe should be enough to cover Melbourne.

Good score line in the end but even better to see Seedy and Thomas performing - we have a seriously good team on paper, if they ever all get on the park together it'll be very very very good! Love to hear the commentators talk about our depth when they see Seedsman playing well in his first game - what will they say when we bring in all Australian Ben Reid? :P

Prior to Swanny's and Grundy's withdrawals I thought the passmark was going to be around 50 points so to win by 86 even though scum kilda are an epitome of putridity was a great effort whichever way you look at it.

Will post more thoughts after watching the replay.
