See - Geelong wasn't quite so dreadful this week. Their defence leaked like a sieve again and they only just snatched a come from behind win against a hapless opponent that's been beaten by the bottom side twice in about the last month but, for a team on the way out, they're at least showing some heart. Lucky they've got the 'Aints next week - that should help them maintain the illusion that they're a top 4 team for a little longer.
A fixture like that, and they wonder why crowds are dropping. Pure Mogadon.
Agree. 4 games of AFL and I don't really care. I'd rather watch Star Trek the Final Frontier watching some really old actors trying desperately to hold onto their youth.
I'm up in Sydney at the moment (but will be back for Mondays game at the G). Up here there's a festival - Vivid. City streets made pedestrian thoroughfares, huge light shows shone on city buildings & Opera House. Area all around Circular Quay & Rocks is packed.
GWS actually doing all right here. Essendon have looked stronger and more confident for most of the match, but GWS have kicked the last three goals and there's only 1 point in it with 10 minutes left to go. Go Giants!
