Could work against Ceglar, but doubt Hale hasn't had the pleasure of going head to head with Huddo.swoop42 wrote:Then again perhaps Hudson could exploit Ceglar and be a real advantage for us.jackcass wrote:Would have thought the Doggies game was the one to try Huddo against Minson. I don't expect it, but the more i think about it the more it makes sense. Our young rucks are looking weary and it would be good to see if Hudson can still cut the mustard should he be called upon in September. A bigger ruck load for White is what he needs.

Bigfooty whisper he's unlikely to get up.Doc63 wrote:Did anyone else see frost limping about at training on the news tonight? Looked very proppy.
Also that Swanny has a groin issue that may or may not be related to his wrist injury. Will play through 2014 and have surgery post season.
Neither come from posters I'm familiar with.
Actually ours is now far worse.melliot wrote:Need to maintain the strategic course. Keep getting games into our kids.
We need to remember that we will get peaks and troughs with kids. No point in playing Huddo unless one of our young rucks is injured.
Similarly with other kids. I'd rather play them than not. While I'd love to have a crack this year, (and we can) it must be more about the next two years. We need preparation for this as our mission in 2014
Also everyone is discussing the Hawks injury list. Our list is just as bad.

I tell ya if Frost doesn't get up to play and joins Brown, Reid, Maxwell and Goldsack on the sidelines then we have little chance.
Who in the hell would play on Hale or Roughead if a switch is in need?
White would be the only player with some size and mobility who could be sent into defence.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

I have a sneaky feeling that we might see Marsh make his debut, all being a forced debut.swoop42 wrote:Actually ours is now far worse.melliot wrote:Need to maintain the strategic course. Keep getting games into our kids.

Chronic overuse might cause such injuries (at least that's what someone has told me)jackcass wrote:Bigfooty whisper he's unlikely to get up.Doc63 wrote:Did anyone else see frost limping about at training on the news tonight? Looked very proppy.

Id suggest Frost is very doubtful given how much we need him for the rest of the year. The club has been overly cautious this year with injuries and I dont expect this to change for this game.
Marsh could very well find himself in the team because he is tall. Oxley could also come in however without even Goldy in the team we have real problems.
( that was one of the strengths of Leroy, he could play ruck, forward and back. cant see white doing this )

Jokes right?
There is no way we could currently be without Brown, Reid, Maxwell, Goldsack AND Frost, surely?
The only way a team could possibly have such a contingency covered is either ridiculous numbers of versatile talls who can play at either end, or a serious imbalance in the original squad.
We're screwed. We will end up with Blair as a key defender

In Armstrong case we've still got a few other options then... when was the last time the boot studder and orange boy ran out for a game? for any team?Lazza wrote:Now your talking...... I like the way you think...jackcass wrote:ArmstrongBreadcrawl wrote:Jokes right?
