Interestingly this is what humans are generally wired for and actively repress. 'Underage' is a purely cultural construct designed to protect young people from sexual predation and to in effect protect them from themselves at a time when hormones prevent rational sexual mate selection.
The real issue with Rolf is that he sexually assaulted these young girls without their consent and apparently without any reciprocation or invitation. He's a dirty old man who didn't apparently have any boundaries when it came to other people. Lack of empathy, even psychopathy wouldn't surprise me.
There's no way that he's a Paedophile in the classic, dictionary meaning of the term nor even in the terrifying stalker of children, Current Affair meaning that we have today. David brought a refreshingly accurate and honest angle to the discussion and prematurely shooting the messenger added nothing.

Call him whatever you want. He's scum. He forced unwanted attention on girls, teens, woman. He had no right. Being famous doesn't make it right. Being old doesn't make it right. Being old now doesn't mean it no longer matters. There is no reasonable doubt that he abused his status, that he groped inappropriatly females of various ages over a long period of time. Roughly shoving your hand up someone's crutch without their consent is sexual assault. I don't care how loveable he was, if anything it makes it worse. Just like a trusted parent that abuses, physically or mentally, he took advantage of his situation to get himself some kind of satisfaction.
Disappointed? Yes that's a fair reaction, followed by anger, disgust, but there's no room for sympathy. The old bastard got away with it too long. Die in jail? So what. May his memory fade, his fame be forgotten, his name only bringing disgust.
His family, well that depends on what they knew or suspected, or wether the really were totally in the dark. I don't know so I won't judge. Either way.
What ever he is suffering in jail, add up the suffering of his victims, and do the maths, I'll bet he still owes the ledger plenty.
At the very least, let this be a lasting message to the population that think grabbing a girl on the boob or the snatch is a bit of harmless fun. It's not.
KEEP YOUR damn HANDS TO YOURSELF.

On a completely separate issue, it surprises me that the only "scalp" from this broad-ranging investigation is a foreigner. Looks to me like a sacrificial offering to assuage the British entertainment industry's collective guilt and shame for turning a blind eye to or actively condoning such behaviour on a widespread basis for the past half-century.

It's still going on in a way when we read in this thread and the arguments over the harsher terms with some insisting we use a softer word than pedophile.
