Hawks are beatable particularly with their injuries. They are distinctly wobbly down back against quality monster forwards as Trav's record against them shows and Petrie as well tonight. Now if only we could stop them from scoring so bloody much....
As for Boomer Harvey, he's played 370 odd games and is still a jet. Seriously I reckon he'll play 450 games. Total freak to be that good for so long.
How good was it when they lost and kept giving away frees and the dorks fans where spewing. The umpires actually applied the rules against Hawthorn, something the public schoolboy scumps have not done for years, Suffer in your jocks.
And Lake gets no discount either and may have carry over points. He may miss Adelaide away and Sydney at home. How ironic if they have no one to put on Buddy.

Lake surely to be cited for his sleeper hold on Petrie. Hodge may be cited too for a piledrive tackle on Swallow.
Hawks Vulnerable?
Well we'll see if Hodge is a protected species as well.
The Lake incident of putting his hands around a players throat and applying force isn't acceptable conduct for mine.
A persons throat and airway should be considered sacrosanct.
Really good result for us, that one. While it keeps the pressure on us from below, Hawthorn's loss keeps us in touch with the top 4. Strange as it may seem, they are the one team we have the most chance of displacing, given their tough draw. North are so up and down that I wouldn't be overly worried about them overtaking us.
On that note, it would be great if Essendon and Melbourne could produce some upsets tomorrow, though I'm not holding my breath for either.

The Lake incident was a really bad look for the game. He is surely gone for 3 weeks minimum. Was watching with friends, the mums in the room were shocked and first comment was " this is why I want my kids to play soccer ".
