To be fair to Lake, Petrie looked to eye gouge him initially which lead to Lake applying the strangle hold.
Lake had a small black eye afterwards so may have mitigating circumstances to explain what he did. Either way it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Without any head high contact, he'll be safe
Lake already had his elbow on his throat when Petrie reacted and tried to get him off, I'm guessing anyone struggling to breath would hit where ever they could and fair enough, and the. He followed up with the hands to the throat, and Petrie looked close to blacking out completely when the other roo came and dragged lake off. Windpipes are surely protected areas! It was the most disgusting thing I've seen since Judds eye gouge and pressure point shit and thug halls punch. Should get a minimum of 4 weeks. Or footy is a joke. (Think of what sidey did for 3)
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
Great win by the Kangaroos last night. There tackling pressure against the Hawks was first class especially in the third quarter where you could see the Hawks were rattled. I hope Bucks was taking notes last night on how to beat the Hawks in the final round of the Home and Away season. Not sure if North Melbourne's win is a good result for us, but seeing Hawthorn lose is always a good way to start the weekend though.
In the current matches:
Tigers 64
Lions 46
(Three Quarter Time)
