Every time there are complaints here about the mods, I remember that we could easily be moderated by 15-year-olds and idiots, like so many other forums. Just calling it as I see it. By the same token, I'm not afraid to offer critical feedback where I feel it's warranted (even when it more often than not gets completely ignored).
I mean, as much as I was annoyed about the setup of the "other AFL" forum and the lack of consultation with users, if the worst problem we can think of right now is organisation of subforums I think we're doing ok. Far better than users getting red carded because of personality clashes, posts being deleted because of difference of opinion, mods escalating conflict or altogether insufficient moderation, as all undoubtedly happen on many other forums.
