It gets better knowing their Club paid for Robbo to be briefed.
Read more: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/h ... z38l5ukzd9The impression that the Hird camp constantly briefed Robinson was reinforced last year by a detailed legal account from Hird's former senior counsel Tony Nolan, which was delivered to former Essendon chief executive Ian Robson. Robson told colleagues the itemised account included time charged for a briefing to a News Limited journalist.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
I don't really understand how Essendon can claim that ASADA a body whose sole purpose is to investigate doping within sport somehow conducted an unlawful investigation in partnering with the AFL.
Surely the people who actually run the broader competition have the right to cooperate in any investigation into one of the teams within it.
Am I missing something?

No swoop your not it's the dopers only chance of having the evidence gathered thrown out. Unfortunately for them even if (and he expert opinion I read says the federal court won't find in there favour) ASADA have the power to reissue infraction notices after reinterviewing all participants who have previously been interviewed and then come to the same conclusions.swoop42 wrote:I don't really understand how Essendon can claim that ASADA a body whose sole purpose is to investigate doping within sport somehow conducted an unlawful investigation in partnering with the AFL.

I'm not a Caro fan but on ABC offsiders she said this morning Essendon have confirmed to ASADA they have no idea of what the players where injected with and they believed they had taken substances that breach the WADA code but the players unknowingly took it.
Simply put Essendon are trying anything they can to get away with this.
More interesting to me is Dimi's involvement in doing deals dpbehind closed doors to try and save Essendon.

Essendon should be thrown out of the AFL for the submissions they have made in the Federal Court today. How arrogant can a footy side be?
As for Hird, all I will say is that he deserves that wife of his. OMG she is a *****.
If Hird is ever let back into football thousands of people will walk away from the game. He is an absolute disgrace because he was the one who authorised all this drug dealing. What a prick!
