Ffs do something!
The amount of coast to coast goals they got without the ball being contested was a bloody outrage, for any side at any level

Magpiemax. Tomorrow is my birthday. I turn 61. I was born and bred into a Collingwood family that would not have a bar of anything not black and white. i saw my first live GF in 1966.Even got my mug on the front page of the Sun in Collingwood cheersquad, which,as a country kid on an end of season footy trip, was a blast. I've endured many losing grannies,I've seen the advent of the "Colliwobbles" and all its stood for.I've seen Collingwood win their first wooden spoon,I've seen champions and Duds alike ,but most of all,I have stood fat and proud to be a Magpie, because being part of the Magpie army means something to me,still does. But as Mr T quite rightly points out,The Collingwood hierarchy ,don't give a toss and are simply wanting bigger membership numbers while we get 4.40 sunday games 6 weeks in a row and no one gives a shit. I will continue to be a magpie supporter but with a lot less enthusiasm than I have done for over 1/2 a century.
I don't see how getting flogged while playing a bunch of kids equates to appathy or misplaced goals. I'm sure there isn't anyone in the administration who isn't feeling our pain. As to the draw, that's an AFL concoction over which the club has little influence.
No.You're not listening to what's being said. You're maybe hear what you want to hear, but the thing people are disgusted about yesterdays humiliationwas the total lack of heart and effort.Nor from the kids, but Lamumba,Cloke,White, and on it goes. The total lack of vision of the players. Who the hell taught these players to handball back over their heads AWAY from goal, which ends up costing a goal EVERY time?? WHO??What's wrong with going forward?? We've got a million dollar man there and we pay ring around the rosy.Something is seriously wrong at this club and we,the members need to know WTF it is. Quick smart. You like walking both sides of the track Jackass but this time you're wrong.

my sentiments exactly; just don't relate your bad form on the course to anything collingwood and you might end up liking both sports equal.

[quote="courtza"]I thought the players looked disinterested in the warm up ,just sorta bobbing around with no real enthusiasm, almost like they were to cool for school.

Without Pendles today it would have been so much worse, he really stood out and was a class above.

That is because they r not confident in their coach's game plan (zoning off etc.) and more importantly DO not have the football skills or desire to make it work ....... We were blessed in 2010 with a side who played for their coach AND believed in the simple game plan
1990, 2010, in another 20 years, who knows??? But Malthouse should still be our coach

All comes back to Buckley and his game plan/coaching. Players might like him but they r not playing for him like they did for Malthouse unfortunately. Eddie M has probably been President now for too long.
D Hine is still in charge of recruiting but choices like Q Lynch and J White have been total disasters. In 2010 there was Cloke, Dawes, and Leigh Brown occasionally. And now Cloke gets bagged but deliver the ball to him out in front and 1 on 1, he will deliver most times. Recruitment in the last couple of years has been a big problem. So between President, Coach, and recruiting Dept, we have most of the reasons why we are where we are. If MM was still coach H Shaw & D Thomas would still b on our books. We have missed Heater in defence big time.

I didn't watch the game and didn't listen to it.

I couldn't.

It was exactly as I thought it would be.

I saw a couple of Facebook updates from mates about the umpires and poor effort from our players. And I knew it was same ol same ol.

Tried to watch some of the replay today - Tuesday. Very difficult to watch.

Don't you just love that whenever we started getting back into the game, our free kicks dried up for huge slabs and the dodgy frees just kept on coming for the Weagles.

Once again I'm relieved to see some of you actually have the balls to say how bad the umpiring was. Because on Nick's you'll get hounded for being 'negative'. But come on. This has been happening for a long time and it gets worse with every game. Biased umpiring is the understatement of the century. Corrupt is more like it.

And what the eff has happened to the team?

Where is the leadership from the players, the coaching staff and the club?

It's embarrassing.

I can accept a rebuild year. But I can't accept half-arsed efforts. And the skill level, what skills? They're gone!

I know tonnes of Collingwood supporters who just can't watch the game anymore. I'm talking literally hundreds. And not just because of the on-field slide either. The club and the AFL has shown nothing but contempt for the followers of this game. Umpiring is one thing. Ticketing and prices... it's everything.

I'm listening, you're not answering. I made a specific comment about the passage I'd highlighted which was the culmination of an extended discussion that suggested because the team got flogged, the club doesn't care. And by extension, the players don't care. And while you've written an extremely long paragraph, it does nothing to enlighten me as to why the outcome of Sunday's game equates to a club in crisis.

And further, how does poor decision making and execusion equate to appathy and a club in crisis? Simple question.

And I'm firmly on the glass half full side of the tracks thanks, and if I'm wrong, it won't be the first time.

Agree totally with you Jackass. It is absurd, and deeply demoralized, to put forward the proposition that the hierarchy of our club don't give a damn about our team's terrible performance. They will be feeling the disappointment and anguish just as much as us! And they are striving right now to get our team fired up for the next three games.

So the Coach comes out i the days before and pre match and tells the football world we're ready to go,we're back on track,we have players coming back,we've piked the besty possible side we can,we then proceed to get HUMPED by ten goals and we're WHAT?? Got nuthin' wrong?? OK !! I'm wrong. So is everyone else and as usual you're right .

Considering what was on the line, it was one of the most insipid performances I've seen from a Collingwood side considering the talent we had on the park, if it was a one off I wouldn't be as worried, but it's been the norm lately.

The lack of structure at every level is abysmal, be it from defending kick outs to guarding the corridor, our foot skills are without doubt the worst in the comp, we're forced to work our damn arses off for every goal yet we give goals up without a whimper.

Buckley must go.

Cloke on Mckensie, it was obvious Cloke was up against it on the lead, so why didn't Cloke play him from behind? Let the team know I'm going to lead fwd then duck back, did it happen? No.
Defender...........
