Shit, it said re-signed, not resigned. Bloody hell. Let's reward mediocrity. Why not see what he's worth on the open market and only if we get no bites do we sign him on minimum wage.

With our culture, Blair has a job waiting for him at the club when we retires from football. He'll be HFF coach for the team.

Hey Flash, this snippet of gold from AwFuL website:

"COLLINGWOOD'S Jarryd Blair is set for a two-year contract extension which will make him a Magpie until the end of 2016...."

Well thank Christ we signed him up before Sydney, Hawthorn or another genuine top 4 side poached him away from us, to strengthen their lists...

18 games for 10 goals. Geez, that's value for money isn't it?
Probably on par with most Collingwood forwards.

Not ONE of these underperforming idiots should be getting resigned prior to seasons end. Which at this rate, will be within three weeks.
They should all be SHITTING THEIR PANTS until then, and not sitting back laughing all the way to the bank.

You guys suck. Blair is great, and I'm happy that he'll be wearing the black and white for another two years. You don't have to like all our players, but no need to act like tossers.

And David, there is absoltutely nothing "great" about Blair, unless you consider his undeniable ability to get worse with each passing season.
He is the epitome of why our club fails. Senior players showing no desire to improve themselves each pre-season. Just the same old one-trick-ponys who deteriorate their skills to ball-slaughtering reserve level.

All i see is players from other clubs passing him for talent and execution by the week, like he is standing still. Many of us on this forum wonder with astonishment on exactly how and why he demands a game each week, with what very little he brings to the table.

Great heart, an honest trier. Does all the 1%ers, great team player.

But, you know, he doesn't get the ball or kick goals. His job. I love the guy, but he shouldn't be getting a game right now, and his re-signing isn't something to be joyous about. If this is Blair playing for a contract, then I hate to think what he'll be like no he's secure.

We rightly bagged Mick for his favourites, well no points for guessing who's Buck's favourite.

Wokko, riding the coat tails of the hardest working midfield in the AFL [at the time] doesn't count as form. Twas merely a gift from MM, to reward him with Tarkyn's spot in history.
