agreed Ronnie, for once we are on the same page.no coach, no bloody coach, could have coped with five of our best out, in one game, how long did reid last, sixty seconds ?? The season from hell, we are cursed by injury, it has decimated the whole team now, we are done and dusted. Sad but true, its all over now, baby blue, to quote bob Dylan.rocketronnie wrote:While our "game plan" as usual sucked, its hard to blame the spud when you lose 5 of your best players either during or before the game.
Bring on next season, let us put this season from hell behind us as soon as we can, we just want the curtain to fall as soon as possible now. Hopefully better times will come, in the long term future.

Its not damn spin when you lose five of your best players before and during the course of the one game, get real, any side would be rooted, think before you sink the boot in, thatd help a lot.collie dog wrote:Bucks looks absolutely shellshocked at his presser. But don't worry he'll find a way to spin out of trouble.

Shakespearian tragedy turned to farce. 4 stars down and no rotations. A catastrophic denouement. Pendlebury, Reid and maybe Cloke gone for the rest of the season.
What can you say, but bring on 2015 .
We seriously need a review of training practices though.
Can't afford to lose so many before the ball even bounces.

Beams: Initial diagnosis PCL; better than I'd thought. Gone for year.
Reid gone for year.
Cloke gone for year.
Pendles a quad; chance next week
How is it that our highly paid footy department and list managers can fail so badly? Armstrong plays in VFL and then must front up again. WTF? We don't plan?
Our list management and conditioning this year has been absolutely horrendous. Heads should roll.
Surely we must also look at the viability of Reid. The guy barely plays a game without limping off. He's injury prone and I doubt he'll ever give us regularity. Surely we must look at his long term future along with Fasolo. As a backman he has no idea and as a forward shows no commitment, courage, leadership or defensive skills. He was embarrassing tonight. Must trade. Sorry to be so negative but I'm just in after a shocker at the G and that was a truly heartless performance.

After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!

Neil, i love your devotion to the club to attend amongst what was literally "a Bear's Game" attendance, as we used to say in the late 80's.Neil Appleby wrote:...Fasolo. And nothing wrong with your eyesight either on that one-trick-Pony, Mr.My-shit-doesn't-stink Fasolo.
Hope Ma and Pa Fasolo want him home to Freo at season's end.

I fear this might be true, Reid and Nathan Brown seem injury prone. Is that really the case or is it just recent history clouding my memory?Neil Appleby wrote:...Surely we must also look at the viability of Reid. The guy barely plays a game without limping off. Also Pendles seemed to have an ice pack on his right thigh after the game, can anyone confirm?
