who are our 3 most important players?

this year our most important players are...

1. molloy (creates so many opportunities for other players)
2. obree (without him how would we win the ball..)
3. mckee (he can play a role, id like to see him win a tap though..)

what do u think?

Hey Tim

I'm new here too (i registered on Monday the 25th)

I like your list but id have to disagree with a couple...

Id have (in no particular order)
1) Buckley (ofcourse...)
2) Lockyer (he is just such a workhorse... and oh so inspirational)
3) O'Bree (the most underrated midfielder in the comp.)

I dont know about McKee, although he has been playing some inspired footy so far this year... but hes not a superstar, nor will he ever be (mind you he's capable of proving me wrong). But he is definately an integral player in our team and i can not speak highly enough of him.

I really cannot justify my list because I honestly believe every player is important in their own right. With a team we currently have, its hard to make a top ten (let alone a top three).

psychosupporter - I agree (regarding players being equally important). That is why I don't like to rank Collingwood players.

Yeah I agree with Joel. I don't think any of the ranking lists in the paper or the teams of the century, etc, are particularly helpful.

I don't know about you guys...but along with the above names...I think one "NICK DAVIS" has become quite important in our side. Nick has really taken his football to the next level and is such a versitile player for us, from his run off half back to his goal kicking and forward attack and he also doesn't do too badly on the ball!
