I've used a 357 magnum revolver, I think the 44 magnum was a semi auto. Up at Surfers you can fire all sorts of things at an indoor gun range, Next time I'm going to have a go at it.

If you can fire a 12 gauge shottie one handed without breaking your wrist, you can shoot most things without letting it jump.
