Saints in financial trouble - Suprise Suprise !

Post by Seth »

It's funny how late last year we were all smarting about not getting Gehrig and how well st Kilda recruited etc. I recall saying and thinking to myself that within 2 years St Kilda because of this will be in finacial trouble.

How the hell were they going to pay these players and Blight. And because of a new Administration that always spends big first up the inevitable has happened. Though it was quicker that I thought.

Oh well. Thank goodness we didn't get them anyway. Who needs Gehrig etc when you have Clement and Holland. Clement will be a long term great backman. Molloy, Rintoul, Wakelin and our draftees.

But I guess our club will have to subsidise another failing club because they don't know how to properly manage themselves.

No sympathy from me whatsoever. They lost the plot when they sacked Stan Alves.

ha exactly i have been to most saints games this year and that bl00dy Gehrig angers me as he has done next to nothing for his price wot a dickhead acting so topshit around trading time when other players from over there like Brodie, Callaghan, Clement etc got next to no recognition and are starting to make names for themselves at their new clubs this year!
