Danger isn't coming our way, (actually it is in one sense!) and whether we like it or not the perception out there is that Collingwood is in complete disarray. A few years ago the Mitch Clarks and Frawleys would've lined up to play for us, but that just isn't the case now. You can bitch at me all you want but it isn't my fault that the footy world sees us as a basket case, it's just how it is.
With luck and some smart manoeuvring we might get someone like an Aish from Brizzo which would be great and mitigate our dire need for a mid. If we could then snare Greenwood I'd be very happy but North won't make that easy, and they're certainly seen as a better chance than us to play well into the finals next year so we'd have to be offering huge money for him. We must remember that Moore is unlikely to play seniors in '15, he needs a year to develop and playing him would look desperate.
Petracca looks like he'll be gone before we get a shot, especially with the f'n Dees jumping the queue, and I think Brayshaw will move up the order now Heeney and Moore are gone, so who would we look at?
Also what are we likely to get for H? Why aren't we getting pick 9 for him? (actually I know the answer to that, the AFL would fold before it gave us anything)

Or it could be because H isn't leaving under free agency....

Please, go for it! The less of you I have to deal with the better. However if you read the last page or so I have been simply asking questions about what we're likely to get for Beams & Harry (the bit about the AFL was a joke Joyce, get over yourselves!) The page after page of venom-spewing directed at Dane Beams was not our doing, I for one am interested in the future in this regard, not the past.

Hey, I'm still posting a fair bit! Perhaps a little more in the VPT, but that's probably always been the case. Just not as much football to talk about in the off-season.
