Causing threads to get locked

Post by King Monkey »

This type of shite........

Carringbush Cigar Quote
No SZ mate - what is killing this site are the lollipop posts, bollocks like:

"This side will make the 8 in 2015"
"Thomas Sux"
"Harry can piss off"
"Beams should be in a coffin"
"Jolly has AIDS"
"Davis never played a good final"
"Dawes is a Traitor"
"Heater has Brain Deficiencies"
"Wellers has no di*k",

well u get my point.

That's what's killing this Football Club.
This site is booming.

You don't get it do you.
You lollipop people are now the sticky, need a wash, minority.
You are holding back the progress of this football club.

You are clinging to your past beliefs even though the constant stream of information leaking and oozing out of Westpac Centre is toxic.

If our 2nd best player walking out won't do it for you - what will?

If you want to back Collingwood to beat Carlton in the first clash this year tell me.
If you want to back Collingwood to make the 8 tell me.

Otherwise have a good hard think about why u don't, and why u find that in any way acceptable.

(EDIT: separated quote from rest of post.....)

The point being this sort of stuff is all good - it's your opinion!!!!
But not relevant to a thread discussing Beams' non-attendance at the Copeland.
Please stop turning every thread into the same same boring squabbling. (Not just specifically yourself CC, just using your quote as the example.)

Not everyone who has concerns is a ""perceptive fellow"", and not everyone that can see light at the end of the tunnel is all "Sunshine & Lollipops".
Seriously, enough is enough.

About bloody time someone said this... It's the reason I don't frequent here anymore, and rarely contribute when I do. I would guess it's the same story for many of the people that made this site great in the early days of Nicks

Sometimes a new broom is needed, people can hold a position for too long and find times have passed them by.

It happens in all aspects of footy.

Lol.
"Moved" is a popular topic at the moment!
(Was disappointed the Beams no show at Copeland thread was locked, is still a pretty relevant discussion.)

I'm not a thread Nazi, have never had any desire to be a mod, realise some discussions go off on a tangent which is fair enough, and in fact I detest it greatly when people start "dibby dobbing" on each other.

Just very very sick of the same crap on every thread - and as I said CC, just used your quote as an example.
