I go to GD to read about General (Collingwood) stuff, not to read about players from other teams or non-collingwood related AFL issues.
I don't know why that is the case. The quality of our opposition (like hawthorn snagging O'Rourke and Frawley) is directly related to our support of Collingwood. Even more so when its a mitch Clarke who we coveted, or a Paddy ryder, where a possible rort is being proposed. Its a bit strange how you define "about Collingwood". Its funny that you don't complain about the "laugh at Carlscum" thread, or the 3 million Mick Malthouse and Daisy Thomas threads. afterall, once they leave the pies, how could it possibly be "about Collingwood".

No matter what we do, one side will be unhappy. I will suggest to the mods team that we run a poll after the trade period finishes.
I think that's a great idea. The need for a D&T forum seems pretty clear for me, but I think it's good to let the membership vote on its future.

A poll on the forums in general would be good - see the many feedback threads.
