We weren't going to use pick 67. I think Collingwood will only use picks 5, 30 and (possibly) 48 (if a player Hine wants is still available). I believe we also need to use a late pick to upgrade Frost to the senior list permanently.

So we get pick 5 & 25 for beams and we trade pick 62 for crisp... that is bullshit!! WTF is going on!!

We got 5 + Greenwood for Beams. That's pretty good if #5 turns out to be a midfield stud.

Beams is a gun, no doubt, and kicks goals, something we lack, but he has no defensive game whatsoever, so he CAN be replaced in due course, and hopefully Pick 5 (or Freeman, etc. do that). Would I rather retain him? Hell yes. But he's GONE.

Crisp is a 190cm runnings mid who clearly can play evidenced by his last few games.

Lamumba was as frsutrating as anyone the past 2 seasons (even though he finished 4th in the Copeland, due in part to injuries to key players and lack of quality in 2014). He constantly misses targets, delivers hospital handpasses, and barely kicks any goals. Varcoe seems an OK replacement if he can snag a few goals or hit Cloke on teh tits lace out.

I don't mind our new look team once you add our 2012-13 recruits into the mix and another year under the belts of our youngsters. I think we're building a damn fine list (2016-17...).
