of course it'd be sensational if we were to climb back into the top four. there are so many variables that are out of our control and with the comp expected to tighten up again the probability of achieving that reduces.Breadcrawl wrote:People who think we can't make the four must be assuming that we will cop heaps of injuries again because if we don't, you cannot draw a line through our early season form and the players we were already missing and conclude we aren't a premiership hope in 2015, especially factoring natural, reasonable improvement by 8-10 players which isn't countered by any natural, reasonable decline at all.
Great post RB
will our third and fourth year plays take the next step? how will our trades perform? how will coming back from injury affect the performance and confidence of those players who have had some time off?
only two games separated 7th and 12th with a three game gap to 13th. port and north should improve on their 5th & 6th spots respectively. gcs should improve. essendon are an unknown quantity due to the asada notices. adelaide and west coast could go either way. then, of course, there is the draw/fixture which comes out on thursday.
if we get fewer injuries i anticipate a 5-10 finish (more likely 7th to 9th) and back in the top four in 2016.
