Saint's are looking to build a group of quality kids so high picks more important than a player who has struggled to stake a claim. Be handy at the cattery though, adding pace and height. Don't know that they have a need though if they get Clark.

it's more the cats offering #21 for an underpeformed player. has had good wraps but never realised the potential. cats forward line could look quite potent, hawkins, clark and stanley.

Seems well overs to me at this stage.

Taken on potential nothing more.

Saints sticking to there manifesto and doing pretty well.

Of course it helps if you suck so bad you finish last.

Where does that leave Brown and Walker? And what about Vardy?

Maybe they just want to improve the GF sprint performances...

Saints fans love him. Yeah it's all based on potential, but they don't have a much else going on down at St.Kilda.

They could never have justified it to the fans without getting a decent pick back. Geelong probably knew this and for them, trading Christensen for a tall with potential isn't a bad move.

Nice spin being put on this one, it wasn't even their pick 21 it was from Brisbane for Christensen.

Just about ready for perma ruck role.

What fellow ruckman could keep up with this athletic beast.

Really surprised by this trade. St.Kilda will be happy with this deal one would suspect.

The only thing I can think of why Geelong would do this is that they see something in Stanley and that he'll be a very handy forward option who could easily thrive in a forward line consisting of Hawkins and Clark.
