A man jumps on board a floating whale carcass off the W.A coast even though tiger sharks have been feeding on it.
I long ago gave up on trying to fathom why certain people do certain things.

my first thought "hope the sharks eat the disrespectful prick". but then the sharks, who are just cleaning up the sea as they are meant to do, would be killed for more of mans stupidity and arrogance.

$3 a pod?

We have a Lavazza machine at work and I buy their pods for $1.00 each (100 per box).

At $3 each you may as well go the local coffee shop and get someone else to make it.

I use the Aldi machine. I haven't paid that much attention to the price but I'm pretty sure it's no where near $1 a capsule.

So $0.37 per cup rather than $3.00.

Seriously, Nespresso are really just taking the p155

Why would you jump on a dead whale? Why?

Some people are so stupid and incompetent at times!

Well, I'm not quite sure that 'incompetent' is the right term... effectively boarding a whale carcass probably takes some skill.

One of the old dears who is fully cognitive that I was helping on the weekend at work took me aside and said "dear spend your money it's not worth keeping it for your old age no one cares about us they just want our money".

It was heartbreaking but I knew what she meant, she'd been putting her money away all her life for her family and now what good is it to her. Her family make token visits, they have their own lives that don't include her unless it's a photo op for the memories. But as she said when she's dead they'll be sniffing around to see what they get.
