Gee has real penetration in his kicking. Not afraid to aim for the longest lead- shows confidence in his ability by doing that.
I'm guessing we have him pencilled in to complete our group of young backmen: Frost, Scharenberg, Maynard, Williams, Oxley, Langdon and Moore. If all work out we've pretty much set up our future backline right there.
Got the young rucks sorted and making progress on the young midfielders and wingers with Adams, Kennedy, Freeman, Thomas, Broomhead and Seedsman developing plus De Goey.
Now for the forward line. We have Elliott but not sure who else is potentially going to be really dangerous around goal in 3 or 4 years. Let's hope Fasolo, Reid, Karnezis and White can do the job.

Yeah could play from day dot across HB and maybe evolve into a more important role later in the piece, looks the goods.roar wrote:186 cm, 88 kg. big enough to play immediately.Defender wrote:Height and weight?
Height, speed and elite kick. All I asked for, but got toughness and one on one ability thrown in. As you can probably tell, I'm pretty excited we got this bloke.

Welcome to Collingwood Brayden!
After watching his highlights reel the things that stood out to me was his kicking penetration and his aggression at the contest, especially his tackling pressure which is something we really needed. Like others here, his attitude thoroughly impresses me.
I'm happy with Dekka and the other recruiters decision to select him at pick 30!

Re: Welcome to Collingwood Brayden Maynard
Never mind his Dad. His Granddad was Graeme Campbell who played 151 games for Fitzroy in the late 50s and early 60s. I remember him as a classy player in a crappy team. He was a tough little bloke who regularly beat players quite a bit bigger than him. If young Brayden has inherited his Granddad's determination he will be good value for us.ronrat wrote:^
