It could go either way for the Footy Show. This could be a massive hit for the show or a massive flop.

Personally I don't find Hughesy that funny at all but each to their own I suppose. I doubt I'll watch the Footy Show much this year if at all as I haven't watched it properly for years.

Guess Hughes is finding the going a little tough since he left the project.

Not that he'd need the money.

While I'd much prefer someone who wasn't a scum supporter I think he'll be a decent enough addition.

Peter Helliar would have been much better though.

The whole AFL footy show needs an overhaul like the NRL version has done over the years.

It's pretty stale.

I always laugh at Hughesy. Not the greatest comedian, but I'm a sucker for a funny voice and stupid facial expressions (Jim Carey and Adam Sandler both make me laugh too).

Suits the vibe of the show pretty well, can be a bit more risque that he was allowed to be on Before the Game and I'm just glad they're bringing back someone to make jokes (Dogs that look like Gary was getting pretty old).

Will it ruin the Footy Show? Probably not. i cant stand James Brayshaw and still watch it.

Think Hughsey is over rated but then cant stand Jim Carey and millions love him.

He be just like Trevor Marmalade was when Eddie was on.

Only Problem he is a big Scum Fan

Maybe when Eddie was on it was too pro Collingwood for other fans, but now I just find it anti Collingwood and boring. I watch once in a blue moon if something big is happening, but can't remeber last time I watched the entire show. Not even the grand final one!
