Whether we're playing like champions or down in the mud we're always going to be hated because we are collingwood, when we're down they fear the day we come back up and when we're up they fear what we're capable of. No matter what we're going to be rediculed for being collingwood and quite frankly.. I LOVE IT.

I am new to posting to this board, but have barracked for Collingwood all my life and my sister and I go every week. I think that nothing annoys opposition supporters more than cocky Magpie fans. Even in those dark days of 1999, we went to every game and behaved like cocky Collingwood supporters, as that was the only way we could take any joy out of that season. Even when we lost week after week - we were Collingwood and they were not (and deep down even the opposition understand that there is no other club like ours, that is why we are so resented). If we make the top 4, just make the finals or don't make them this year (unlikely now I think), I will always be a cocky Collingwood supporter.
